Kim’s story is simple. When she gave herself permission to pursue her curiosity, beauty followed.

That beauty manifests in two ways—the inspired pieces of fine jewelry Kim creates, and the sense of peace Kim feels from making them. Her creativity thrives in her Seattle studio—nowhere else does she feel time stand still, fully immersed in her work, happy and in control.

Kim’s ability to transform recycled precious metals and natural gemstones into one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality pieces is truly a labor of love. Her signature style has an organic and casual allure—proving that understated can make a stunning statement. She hopes that those who wear her jewelry love it as much as she loved making it.

Kim also gives generously to her community. Out of personal gratitude for the life-saving work done by Seattle Children’s Hospital, Kim donates 100% of the proceeds from her Greta pendant to their foundation, plus 20% of her total profits in the month of September.

Kim finds inspiration all around her. In the splendor of the Pacific Northwest. In the

warmth of friends and family. In the practice of a new technique. In the imperfections of

a natural gemstone.

Falling in love with a gemstone is a common beginning—Kim has been drawn to them

for as long as she can remember. Her current favorites are rustic diamonds. Not only for

their inherent beauty but for their unmatched toughness.

From there, Kim’s process is also the destination. Each handmade piece is a new

opportunity to discover what’s possible. Kim is in constant pursuit of new skills, fueled by

the desire to accomplish something both challenging and rewarding. While she enjoys each

step of jewelry making, she delights in the finished product, knowing that it is made to the

best of her ability. She truly loves everything she makes and finds the act of creation to be

extremely fulfilling. It’s simple—making jewelry makes Kim happy.

Kim is also incredibly mindful in how she sources her materials. All diamonds are

compliant with the Kimberley Process, an international certification that regulates the

trade of rough diamond. She also utilizes recycled metals whenever possible.
